At PHOTOGENIC, every portrait is created in our studio in Dalkey, Co Dublin — nothing here is stock or composite, every image in these galleries is one we've made ourselves, of a real family, in our own camera room.

We photograph people at every stage of life: families with young children, three-generation groups spanning grandparents to grandchildren, babies in their first year, graduations, teens, and pets. Browse the galleries below to see the kind of work we create for each.

Every session starts with a conversation, not a script. We talk through what you want the finished portrait to say — who's in it, where it might hang, whether you're picturing black and white or colour — before we ever pick up a camera. That planning is why the sessions feel unhurried and the portraits look like your family, not a generic studio pose.

Your finished portrait becomes a genuine piece for your home — a centrepiece for a room, or one more addition to a growing wall of portraits taken over the years. It's printed, framed and made to last, not left or lost as a file on a phone.
